I think it looks good.

One thing to note, Tobias has not been barred from CBS licensed productions because his work on Axanar, as him and his team have modelled a handful for ships for Star Trek Online over the last year.

No quite accurate as Tobias didn't model directly for STO per se; but when they were redoing the DS9 exterior model for STO, they ASKED if he would be willing to let them use the ortho files of a DS9 model he had done, and Tobias said, 'Yes.'

The point? I don't believe he was paid, and he wasn't asked by CBS directly, just Cryptic who is a licensee.

He also modelled some of the DSC Fed ships for them. The only one I can find now with a source is the Nimitz-Class (USS Europa), but STO's community manager has said he's done a couple

His team has made more than DS9 for them, they've also modelled some of the DSC Fed ships for them.
ALL the DSC Fed ships from my understating - (including the Crossfield class) - were provided directly to them from CBS (IE they got CBS 3D modeling files from Pixmodo - or so Al Rivera one of the STO Devs stated.)

Again, the Devs have also stated they used some models created by Tobias as well, but gain, I don't think he was ever directly contracted or actually paid.

They use the show's models for reference yes, but the models are built from scratch, they don't take the show used model and scale down the quality.

Among the ships Tobias created for us was the model of the ill-fated U.S.S. Europa

His team also modelled one of Cryptic's original 25th century designs (inspired by the Vorcha), and recreated the Ent-C Concept Art design.

Also, props to Tobias Richter and his team, who built both of these ships for us!
Tobias' team modeled it. Hector Ortiz designed it.

I doubt they're not getting paid for all this work.

Their new Excelsior and Runabout models were also done by him/his team.

I took a look in the donor Facebook group today. LFIM is still claiming CBS took all the money from the original fundraisers. Who at CBS has the money then? He went around telling everyone he got the legal work done pro bono, in other words, free. He spent all the money, and just doesn’t want to admit it.

I also watched the production update video from today, it was a bit painful but I got through it. I am so sick of hearing about the patches that still haven’t been sent out yet. He’s been saying they’ve been ready for a while and they last video he did he was unboxing them. Sending out stupid patches before making the films, talk about mixed up priorities.

Now we get another fundraiser. This time private. While that does fulfill the terms of the settlement, LFIM has proven several times over that he can’t manage funds. He squandered the money I already donated (btw LFIM if you’re reading this give me the name of the person at CBS that has my money since you claim they took it, so I can get it back from them). Looks like LFIM also banned a donor from the group for asking why another fundraiser was needed. LFIM responded that they “didn’t understnad the mechanics behind Axanar.”

That is the big reason why I don’t look at the donor group much. Really about once every 3 months, and the only reason I looked today was because of the donor update emails I got. It’s really a toxic environment in the donor group if you ask the tough questions that the donors are entitled to know.

We would be lucky to see anything in our collective lifetimes. Sadly, the dreary Vulcan footage looks like the only thing that was ever made for the new production.

Aren't they going to need a whole new script now that they're going to do another mockumentary short instead of the regular movie? Have they started on that scrip yet?

I'm pretty sire they annouced their 2 15-minute episode scripts were written ages ago.

They've somehow managed to lose all their VFX assets and brought in someone who comes across like a volatile teenager to replace Tobias Richter. I can't wait for his and Alex's first difference of opinion:lol:
