Happy New Year everyone. I see that apartment block is still closed. Is there going to be anything done about dodgy builders?
Anyone seen those really cringe inducing TV ads for Clive Palmer? He's not a viable alternative for anything.
There are everywhere. TV, radio and on road signs. I hope he fails big time. I mute them as soon as I see them - plus he is getting sued by Twisted Sister for using one of their songs in his campaign. And is likely to lose!!!!
Because I am asthmatic I am confined to the indoors as there is a great deal of smoke over Hobart though the major fire is in the South West. 34C at the moment.
A great shame to see model and actress Annalise Braakensiek appears to have taken her own life, made more tragic by the fact she was recently an ambassador for RUOK. Yes, very good looking, but she was also fun and funny (her turns in Fat Pizza were pretty good) and it's just so sad when people feel they have no recourse but to do this.
I kind of knew the name but not the face. So when the story came on the news it was kind of sad because I knew the things she had been doing in the past and TV and stuff. It really pains me that people feel that bad that this is the only out they have. Oh did anyone see this? https://www.sciencealert.com/up-to-...2nG3KNeG3EDOsANGKuVfu-HjxsjiSWiefyESglZOfNdUk
What a day in Australian politics - there is a new extreme far right party (from Fraser Anning) and it's been reported that Clive Palmer is sending unsolicited text messages out to Australians. Bring on the election, so I can put these loonies last.
Though the libs can't say much - they've got form for that sort of crap unless people have forgotten about spam phone calls from the lying rodent back in 2007.
There are some 177000 words in the English Language and yet political parties seem to hover around the same words when naming their own party usually around 30 to 50 combinations of the same words.
