Couple things I noticed on the images of the Season 1 sets
there is a new room in the Spore Drive Room (also noticed this in other footage released over the last few months)
And the small area behind Sarek, in Season 1 the entire wall was made up of lights and panels, now there's conduits and only a few lights.

Which is disappointing. Anson was so well cast as the Jeffrey Hunter Pike, and Quinto is passable enough as a young Nimoy... but this new dudebro :/
I'm guessing that's why they'll keep him in the beard.
