The comments are the saddest part. All CBS/Discovery hate. Can you not be a fan of the Axanar idea and still enjoy a TV show? I mean I was a fan of Prelude until all the mismanagement stuff came out and Gossett and all the talent left. Oh and when LFIM tried to slam Tony Todd on Twitter. That was classy.Wow, I just saw. I get to punch that one on my card.
I should be surprised to see people actively championing the guy who cons people out of their money as being called "real," and the "the one true" something. I mean, Trump got elected. That, alone, should have shattered my faith in people's ability to recognize a con artist when they see one.Wow, I just saw. I get to punch that one on my card.
Yep. It all started off as mild discontent with Discovery, and I have quibbles with the show, too. The problem is that JP seems to be siding with anyone who took a direct punch at CBS, which Axanar did, and managed to essentially get away with it.The comments are the saddest part. That's the thing. It's 99.9% Anti-CBS, Anti-Discovery, and now this pro-Axanar as "real Trek" and favoriting all of the pro-Axanar comments, and then this .01% statement. It's like saying "this show is the worst thing in the world, it's awful, obscene, profane, and a blight on all humanity," and then adding "but I'll give it another chance next season."Weird how Egotastic is all about Axanar and Anti-Discovery, but then also says this in his own comments

It's so bizarre to me that people still are on board with his claims of being "real Star Trek" even though he has not done anything to substantiate his claim and had not produced a damn thing after years and years.
As long as you are anti-Discovery, anti-Abrams and anti-CBS then you can be real Star Trek. It's so bizarre to me that people still are on board with his claims of being "real Star Trek" even though he has not done anything to substantiate his claim and had not produced a damn thing after years and years.
That's cold, dude. Maybe true, and funny, but still cold.Unless you're Mark Sanchez.
This. There's no way he doesn't know about it now, either. People, including myself, have posted links to the court cases, to Carlos' site, and have recommended other fan projects like Continues, and there's no shift away from Axanar, or at the very least there's no open consideration that maybe he's backing the wrong horse. As long as you are anti-Discovery, anti-Abrams and anti-CBS then you can be real Star Trek.
This ^^^^It's a cult.
