Not a big fan of dichotomy tests (they feel a bit too limiting), but seemed interesting to try anyway. Here are my results:

There is no god but my stuff

    Egoism vs Altruism
    34.2% 65.8%
This makes me out to be a lot nicer than my self-image. I therefore reject it entirely.

    Idealism vs Pragmatism
    50.6% 49.4%
I hate Idealists. But then, I am self-loathing.

    [IMG][IMG]
    Hedonism vs Asceticism
    31.4% 68.6%
    Pleasure bores me.

    Nihilism vs Moralism
    57.3% 42.7%
No meaning but what we make of it.

    Rationalism vs Romanticism
    69.7% 30.3%
You expected something different from a guy whose friends call him "Evil Spock" and "Computer Soul?"

    Skepticism vs Absolutism
    68.8% 31.3%
If it can't be expressed in numbers, it's an opinion.

I don’t know how to post an image from a phone and with no access to image hosting, and can’t quite justify the premium membership though it is next on the list of things for me, but anyway. I’m broadly fifty fifty, with a heavy lean toward altruism, spiritualism and asceticism.

Some of these questions need to be qualified more. Like "Emotions should never be considered in making decisions". What decisions? Personal relationship decisions or scientific belief decisions? "People have a right to pursue as much pleasure as possible." You mean, above moral considerations or within moral considerations?

These results show the trouble making dichotomies out of everything. A lot of my positions on these spectrum are not one dimensional, or they're conditional or situational.

    Materialism vs Spiritualism
    52.3-47.7
I believe the physical world is made of material, but in considerations of the human world are 'Virtually spiritual', greater than the sum of the material that humans are made of.

    Egoism vs Altruism
    27.3-72.7
If I'm being completely honest my responses may not necessarily reflect my behavior if it ever came down to the hard decisions, but I hope they would. And the wording of these questions don't match the description. The description is individualism vs collectivism but all the questions are "How selfish are you".

    Idealism vs Pragmatism
    63.1-36.9
I'm idealistic in pursuit and goal, pragmatic in procedure for attaining that goal.

    Hedonism vs Asceticism
    43.9-56.1
I don't believe pleasure and meaning are conflicting pursuits.

    Nihilism vs Moralism
    55.0-45.0
I believe morality is objective, but situational and arising from human constructs rather than anything inherent in the universe.

    Rationalism vs Romanticism
    53.4-46.6
Rationalism in terms of belief, romanticism in terms of personal relationships.

    Skepticism vs Absolutism
    62.5-37.5
I believe we should always be skeptical, but scientific and mathematical facts can indeed just be proven. Moral issues can never be completely understood. There are objective truths, but no human is smart enough to be sure they have achieved them.

These seven categories being treated as one dimensional spectra make them too broad to apply to fully describe how a person thinks.

Exactly. I had more questions, but there was no way to clarify anything.

Similar with me, which is perhaps my results where middle of the road as often we do not deal with absolutes.

I agree. I hit the neutral tab on several, largely because of that.

If I'd have known there would be a "subscribe to pewdiepie" link at the end, I never would have done the test. What does that say about me? ;)
