News Next Arrowverse Crossover to Include Batwoman

That looks like Green Arrow’s costume from Smallville. Now whether they just used it because that suit exists and they did not need to make new one only, or it’s supposed to be specially him? Remains to be seen.

This Flash has come along way from fighting the Dark Riders, just criminals on motorbikes, in his original Pilot episode.

Actually what I thought was a second green arrow might actually be Speedy or another red coloured archer., the costume looks red, though it might just be the lighting.

Here is everyone I spotted

Green Arrow, the costume does somewhat resemble the Smallville costume, the outfit has the yellow trim, and the pattern on the back seems to match, but it's hard to see. It also has the yellow 'feather' on the hood.

The guy in the winter coat is presumably Captain Cold, though not the one from the original show.

On the one hand, it's kind of nice to know that the world of the '90 Flash expanded to incorporate more superheroes (assuming that all the heroes here are indigenous to his world rather than being a transdimensional team). On the other hand, it's unfortunate that they're all dead now, and apparently so is that whole universe.

Great to see the costume and hear Danny Elfman's Flash theme again, but they modified it a bit by giving the Flash Speed Force lightning, which he didn't have in the original show. Maybe he only tapped into the Speed Force later in his career?

I'm not sure The Flash '90 and Smallville can be reconciled as taking place on the same Earth, given their differing histories of past superheroes or the lack thereof. Though maybe that could be fudged. For what it's worth, the Stargirl costume in the teaser looks like the same one from Smallville.

On the other hand, Smallville's Superman costume was reused from Superman Returns, and Birds of Prey's Batgirl costume was a repaint of the one Alicia Silverstone wore in Batman and Robin. So costume designs alone don't prove anything except that TV shows recycle stuff to save money.

In an episode of the 1990 series Tina McGee mentioned that she was waiting for a call from a Dr Carter Hall. At the time nothing more than an Easter Egg for fans to Hawkwan’s secret identity. But now could have a lot more meaning to it.

I bet now the Arrowverse Wiki is going to merge with the '90 Flash Wiki like it previously did with the Supergirl and Constantine Wikis.

And I guess I now have to give up my pet theory that the '90 Flash took place in the DC Animated Universe.

Are you sure? Looks more like the LoT one to me. The star at the top of the arm being bigger gives it away.

I was going by this photo:

But I guess you're right -- the LoT version looks basically the same, albeit with a darker blue shade that matches the one in the teaser. I hadn't realized the two shows used nearly the same design.

The music score is similar to the 90’s show as well.
Calling it Earth-90 is fine but it does make it confusing when they said there are only 53 Earths. In the comics there were infinite Earths until the crisis of Infinite Earths when they were all destroyed bar one. Infinite Crisis brought back 52 of them. Could this be in the distant past that caused them to be only 52 Earths? Could explain why we haven’t seen 90’s Flash already.

That teaser looks good, although them taking a plot point from the atrocious Countdown to Final Crisiscomic (an Evil Monitor) isn't very reassuring.

Will this finally be the story that combines Supergirl's and Arrow's universe together?
