That line I wrote about the plimsole came from Laurel & Hardy's Our wife (1931) I just thought Dickerson looked as daft as Stan Laurel looked when he threw the confetti in the air around Ollie and his girlfriend and then lobbed the plimsole into Ollie's ear!
