THE ORVILLE Season Two...

Same here. I'm hoping it's not an unusual scale.
Unfortunately there is no other news about it. The video was posted some time in March if I remember. Lee just said he was on his way to approve of an action figure and that it was posted on the Orville subreddit. I do hope it's Diamond Select scale because not only can I have one pizza party, I can have two! :D

Poor Spock. The great shame of a Vulcan having to deal with the shame of looking like a child sitting in a chair were his feet can't touch the ground must be hard. Not letting those feelings show because of his need for Vulcan logic and suppressing his emotions. Props though what you see with Scotty. I always forget which finger he was missing but in the fine tradition of the show you can see it's being hidden by either the pizza he is holding or the oversized Mountain Dew bottle.

Perhaps they were still suffering from the shrinking effects from The Terratin Incident. :D

Naturally this is why Kirk is standing. His ego isn't going to let him ever look foolish for even a second. I'm sure Spock and McCoy even told him flat out the crew can't see a Captain sitting in a chair with his feet dangling. He would loose the respect of the crew and the ability to lead. The Captain has to be perfect all the time!

He also cut all the pizza's with precision cutting. He didn't need a phaser, he used an old fashion pizza cutter and cut it better than a computer.

Was thoughtful to give Spock a salad as well I can see. Not only that but unless I miscounted the pepporoni to slice ratio is perfect! Each slice has exactly five Pepporoni's on them.

And realistic looking ones. No Funko please :(

Better than sitting in a small dollhouse chair and having no space for his legs under the table, trust me!

That's high mathematics!
My Scotty once heated the meat with his phaser as I had forgotten to bring the barbecue grill.

Good Point about Kirk but the number of books on his table does show that the young nerd Kirk who was a "stack of book with legs" is still within him. If he hadn't walked into that room with Carol Marcus wearing nothing but a black brawl and panties and realized he,really, really, really liked girls and decided he was going to need to become more hip and cool to impress her he wouldn't have given up on his first love which is, literature. Now as a old man he is simply rediscoveing a part of him he felt he had forever left behind.

As for Scotty. I did notice his beam didn't reach the plate. That and the old style army men and the barren landscape indicates we might be on the , Guardian of Forever planet and you got some weird time distortion effects going on. We also see the B-team had a adventure as well while KIrk,Spock and McCoy were hanging out in 1920's San Fran. Shame though to see 60's sexism though take place in what must have been yarn. Naturally the two men would expect the women to cook them, their meals. Uhura's eggs are eggs of shame.

Jason

"Old style army men" *gasp*
@The Wormhole recognized them, that's the Stargate SG-1 team! I grant you Scotty's beam though. I'm not good with special effects.

You're giving this way too much thought. I mean, as a woman I appreciate it, but the simple reason why Uhura is holding the eggs is that unlike the others she can't sit down. At all. So I always have to find standing poses for her. All my figures with skirts have the same problem, be them Eleven, Barbara, Scully or Felicity.

But hey, everyone, let's not derail the topic too much, since we are still in the Orville thread. I want to invite everyone over to our action figure thread:

Last Star Trek post by me is Scotty repairing an UFO. I'll happily repost some of my Star Trek pictures and then we can discuss to our hearts delight! The thread has been too quiet lately.

@The Wormhole, I sent you a PM in reply!

Your right. Now I see the Stargate team. I guess I missed it because I am looking at through a crappy laptop. The pictures on my machine kind of get blurry and I am always having to hit it just for the color to show.

This looks great but your missing the new character. Not to mention Yaphit.:)

Jason
Sadly I couldn't find any pics of the new character and Yaphit would be a bit difficult to fit in. This is more a season one inspired wallpaper but when more publicity stills become available I will make more.

You know this stuff made me think of something. Someone should try and make a online "Orville" comic. I know Trek has done that before. Are you good at making comic book style looking scenes? Such as people on the bridge or talking to each other or action scenes and so forth?

I do have some limited experience with making comic book style scenes. On the action figure thread in MISC I've posted a few action figure comics. I'll link one here in a spoiler tag as it's my biggest one and It's all one large image.

@garamet for one. She'd kill it in the Orville universe.
@Dayton Ward and @David Mack were my first thoughts. I know David Mack is known things like Destiny, but he did a comedic story for the New Frontier: No Limits short story anthology and it was hilarious.

The less said about Funko the better. I'd be happier with Star Wars style if they can't do Diamond Select. Just no FUNKO!
I love Funko Pops, they're the one thing I actually collect, and I would be thrilled if they did The Orville.
