Its a Midnight edge claim, they can't back up. Everything I can find points to netflix still footing the bill

Translation: five of my friends don't like it, so obviously it must be reviled.
For God's sake, five people wouldn't fill the first row at a DISCO panel at Comic-Con, which was surely standing-room only. And that most of your friends agree with you only means that, surprise, you and your friends have similar tastes, which kinda stands to reason. Not exactly a tidal wave of public opinion.
Well, I don't exactly look forward to a series where EVERY discussion about it inevitably leads to the discussion about weather the main protagonist is a "cannibal", genocidal fascist, or a "xeno-cannibal", genocidal fascist.
Can't they give us a prime-Georgiou prequel show or something?
(Besides, I think MU Gergious backstory is already waaay to thick to just drop it in the pilot episode of a new show)

At least it will be a change from endless arguments about whether it's Prime enough.

That would be boring, and easily do able within DSC as flashbacks, or even a Short Trek episode. There's more mileage out of a Section 31 series that's sorta like Star Trek meets Suicide Squad.
I thought you were doubting whether Section 31 exists in DSC.
