Seems kinda dumb that you would bring a spy and a traitor into your main command center for the entire war, to interrogate her.

At the very least, they should have taken her to a secure location for the interrogation. SOCOM isn't just their command center for the war but it is also where the President is. No way would you bring a dangerous spy into the same location as the president. That would be like Bin Laden surrendering in front of the White House and just taking him for interrogation in the room next to the Oval Office. It's ridiculous! It was done just so that we can get a "white house down" scenario next ep.
They didn't really bring her there, she went there and surrendered. But, yeah, at the very least, they should have kept her handcuffed.
Another issue i had was ...why did the squad that did the surveliience..why did most of them go OUT of the tunnel and on the battlefield? They should have all come on out behind the lines and knock 'em all out.

oh...and did anyone notice the comparisons & contrast last episode of Chandler and Tavo? Chandler was wrong on going after the battleship, but was willing to listen to the Captain and his former XO...and was able to admit he was wrong. On the other hand, Tavo forced his lieutenant to obey him, even for a foolish reason. There will be consequences for that...

The problem there was the writers gave us no reason to give a damn about the boy before he provided that key. He and his family were just there while Chandler directed his part of the invasion from their house. It was just, they're there, the boy knows a way in, boy dies while Chandler acts intense. The writers treated the boy like a McGuffin, and you don't spend air time considering the death of a McGuffin.
I rolled my eyes at the "Hey lets just let a UNVETTED Ambulance crew straight through without even a patdown or cursory inspection - RIGHT INTO THBE HEART OF THE U.S. MILITARY COMMAND CENTER (where the POTUS bunker is located and the President is staying - based on the teaser for next weeks episode).

You're assuming the writers even listen to the military advisors when they're on the job. I mean, that's just Hollywood. How often do you think Trek's writers listened to their science advisors?
Some of the Trek episodes with the worse science were the ones written by the science advisors.
Okay...did not know that.
But in general, in movies and TV, advisor input tends to take a back seat to creative desires, so my guess is the presence or absence of TLS's military advisors is a moot point. Just look at some of the nonsense we've seen here over fiive seasons.

Yeah, military shows in particular, the advisors are usually only there to make sure the branch the show is about gets a positive portrayal. Like on Stargate, when they got a military advisor towards the end of the first season one of the first things they did was drop the villainous military officers which were originally meant to be a thing and replace them with the fictional intelligence agency known as the NID. They kept Colonel Maybourne since it was too late to backtrack on him, but made him working for the NID and eventually the character ended up dishonourably discharged.
Tonight's episode feels like an episode of 24.
Along with a little bit of TWoK. I half expected Tavo to launch into Khan's speech when his general tried to talk him down off Chandler. "He tasks me! He tasks me and I shall have him!"

Hey...just wondering if anyone noticed, let alpne bothered, that the majority of major deaths have been to non white characters while white characters like Wolf survive.

I think the military is trained to support the commander in chief in almost all cases, treason being an obvious exception to the rule. But the military will still follow orders even if they don't particularly like or even respect the commander in chief.
It could be argued though that the president confessing to a lie of the enemy, albeit under duress, could constitute treason.
As entertaining as the episode was, I think it might have been a "jump the shark" moment for the series. Not just the whole premise of bringing a traitor/spy inside the supreme command center with the president, is absurd, but having terrorists almost hang the president on national TV and having him beg for his life, was pretty over the top.
