Daredevil season 3 Marvel/Netflix

I'll be pissed if Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Punisher are cancelled. It would be such a shame. I didn't like Luke Cage and Iron Fist. They had many problems but the remaining shows are great. Don't do it Netflix!

If it was cancelled, at least it ended in a decent way.
Aside from the Bullseye storyline, it neatly wraps up all of the remaining story arcs developed since the beginning. The Hand threat is over, Stick and (presumably) Elektra are dead after completing their own story arcs, Kingpin is back in jail and presumably cut off from all of his resources this time, and the immediate issues Matt had with Foggy and Karen have been resolved while also reestablishing the private firm together. I naturally want more, but this is definitely a good spot to end on.

Given how neatly they wrapped things up, I think it's a safe bet that the show runners think there's at least an even chance they're not getting a fourth season. Indeed, the while Iron Fist being canned wasn't much of a shock, Luke Cage's cancellation means it's all up in the air right now.

Watched episode 3.
Matt and Foggy's reunion definitely didn't play out the way I expected, I definitely don't see him backing down.
From what Karen found it definitely sounds like Fisk is up to something.

Punisher wrapped shooting its second season a month or two ago, and I believe Jessica Jones is currently shooting the third season. I think it's impossible to tell what's going to happen going forward, between Netflix's need to balance its massive debt with its massive content spending, and the Disney turf war.

One thing that bodes ill for Jessica Jones is that show runner Melissa Rosenberg, who's been attached the project since long before it even came to Netflix, will be leaving after season three. Rather than starting over behind the scenes, Netflix may just choose to cut and run.

That was a much tighter, more focused show than some of the Netflix Marvel offerings, certainly better than the incredibly repetitive season 2.

I agree though it might be a good spot to tie up the DD show and keep him around for appearances elsewhere.

Holy shit, I just watched most of Blindsided, episode 4, during my lunch break at work and that whole sequence in the prison is fucking insane.
IGN has a interview with the showrunner where he talks a tiny bit about what it took to put it together.
If anyone was wondering, it is 11+ minutes and they spent an entire day rehearsing it.

I finished up episode 4 this morning, and it looks like we're starting to see Fisk turn Poindexter. I'm very curious to see exactly how he goes from loyal, if kinda creepy, FBI agent to working for Fisk.
Foggy running for DA is definitely an unexpected development. I'm glad he told Karen about Matt, it drives me crazy when characters keep that kind of stuff from each other.

An enjoyable season. Hopefully the next one is more lighthearted; similar to Waid’s run. I want to hear someone call him “Red Batman”. :)
