Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

After the previous issues have been some kind of lackluster - with these ones they really hit it out of the park! All very notable starships worthy of a collection.

After seeing Gomtuu, I kinda' really wish Eaglemoss would produce a model of "Moya" from Farscape.

There are enough ships for a Farscape collection too someday. The DRD's would make a good addition for a special issue.

Does anyone have that starship shipyards 2151 - 2293 encyclopedia from eaglemoss? Is it worth getting or is it nothing more than what is bundled with the ship models bound in book form?

It’s the in universe parts from the magazines that came with the ship models. It also includes the Discovery ships, some of which haven’t had models released yet.

USS Bonaventure!!!

Looks okay I guess. But to be honest I think the USS Bonaventure comes closer to the TOS look than the Enterprise.
USS Buran (from DIS) looks good as well. Kinda' like a mixture of Battlestar Galactica and the ships from Starship Troopers.

The Glenn showed up on the US webstore for ordering yesterday, oddly in the Hobbit & LOTR section.
I managed to order one before it went into out of stock status, now we'll see if the order is actually fulfilled. It'll be nice to get one and not pay Ebay prices.

The Bonaventure was designed for the ships of the line calendar and not Discovery so that’s why it fits better with the TOS era.

The Disco-Enterprise reminds me a lot of Eaves’s Enterprise NX-01 concept.

Though his concept art didn't have the TMP style angled pylons, they were straight up and down like TOS.

The Bonaventure is beautiful. (Though I wouldn't say no to the TAS one.)

Enterprise-F might be the first "hero ship" I skip. That design is just so uninspired. Previous Enterprises were good at looking distinct, like they came from a whole different generation than their predecessors. That just looks like a sister ship of the E-E and Voyager. It would be an okay side ship, but it's a poor Enterprise.

The Bonaventure is gorgeous. That would have been a fantastic design for Discovery had they adhered to visual canon.

I kinda dig the E-F.

The nacelles on the Discoprise look huge compared to the rest of the ship.

I'm wondering if, as a subscriber to the DISCO line, if I will be automatically subscribed to the Disco Enterprise, or if I will have to order it separate from the line.

Either way, I want one.

And a "Year of Hell" Voyager.

I'm excited for for the booklet that comes with the Enterprise, because I really want to see the concept art, and read more about the thought behind it.
