Spoilers Season 2 Trailer

@Time is the Fire in case it wasn't obvious from my two posts on the subject and my changing the subject to red angels, I'm trying to move the thread on, and back to the topic at hand. Please could we drop the canon debate for this thread?

Could be a plot hook for later.

According to the NYCC panel, L’Rell is still trying to follow T’Kuvma’s dream of uniting the houses, but she’s going to do it in her own way, not T’Kuvma’s.

The D7 could be her trying to unite the houses technology. Get them to work together on something.
A traditionalist evoking old starships from back when a Klingon could beat up Archer with pride

Sorry, yes of course.

Edit to add (since I didn't see it earlier):
I'm wondering whether the Klingons are investigating a Red Angel in parallel, and taking a different approach, in a similar setup to the film Arrival. Perhaps this is the origin of the little bot things which seem to attack them in the asteroid field (and potentially downed Notaro's ship).

I'm interested in how the faith/science element plays in though. It raises the possibility that the 'Angels' are benevolent beings primarily, or whether they are presenting a front. Certainly I hope it doesn't end up in a battle.
This is my interest as well. I personally love the idea of exploring what these angelic beings might be, if they are interested in the affairs of mortals as well as different cultures interpretations of them. I am truly hoping for a benevolent race rather than the usual "false god" trope.

Sadly, I can't command Discovery. I'm already off commanding a ship of my own in 2257.

On the other hand, if they can borrow Pike for a season, I guess they could borrow me too. And piss off the Axanar Crowd.
