Well, it seems to me like you're biasedIn my opinion - this is the best thing to ever happen to Spock.
Certainly not. Have you heard of Spock's Goatee? Now that joker is biased.Well, it seems to me like you're biased![]()

Man, you spoiled the plot twist that this teacher was really from the Mirror Universe. By training Tuvok to be logical, he forced the crew of Voyager to endure Tuvok's self righteous monologues for 7 years. It was the most cruel and unusual punishment the Mirror folks could think of inflicting on the Federation at the time. Now that's a MU goatee™ !

The beard is actually a good way to adjust to the fact that Prime Spock isn't Nimoy. I wonder if they could have switched out Jonathan Frakes using the beard as a cover back in TNG...?Whilst I've been quite critical of this show and I question the wisdom of showing Spock at all, I really cannot understand people being upset about the beard. These guys are joking, surely? Historically beards have improved the quality of Star Trek shows, so I hope the same happens here.
It is actually quite clever. The beard nicely distracts from the fact that Peck doesn't look like Nimoy (or Quinto, if you care about that) and once we get used to the actor he can shave.
I wouldn't mind that. He can have shaved five minutes before the beginning of "Where No Man Has Gone Before"So, one publicity still and a quick couple seconds of a trailer (both of which have Spock not in his uniform, by the way) and people think he'll have a beard for the time he's on the series?
Were they saying that back about Riker when the first season 2 previews of TNG hit?So, one publicity still and a quick couple seconds of a trailer (both of which have Spock not in his uniform, by the way) and people think he'll have a beard for the time he's on the series?
