So Age of Discovery is now live. Already there are those haters complaining about it. Planning on making a new toon soon.

No way to play the DSC missions without creating a new captain?

 

Well you need a new captain for the tutorial, but the other missions are ad will be available to all factions after the Victory is Life storyline.

 

Yet to find out ... as I'm having problems with the launcher.

 

You can play them on any character.

 

I tried to access those missions this afternoon and could not .

 

Make sure you have every mission before hand finished.

 

Every mission done in Victory is Life? I did not complete one due to lack of junping ability in a space suit.

 

You need to finish (or hit the skip button) on every mission before the AoD missions.

And what do you mean you couldn't jump?

 

Could not jump over crevasse 2.

 

I was able to do it fine.

So the next content drop we'll see is a Queue based on the Battle at the Binary stars.

As for stuff after that, we know there will be a new mission with the 9 Year Anniversary event in January focused on what happened with the ISS Discovery

They're also said they're going to do a story about Commander Landry, and they also have a story for the planet Pahvo given to them by one of the show writers, Kirsten Beyer

 

Played through the tutorial and without giving spoilers, it was meh. Hated the uniforms. Once I got to the 25th century, first stop I made was to the tailor to update my wardrobe. Maybe once they add more content it might get better, but for now, I'm going to stick to my TOS, Rommie, and 25th century Fed toons.

 

Rommie? After Andromeda I take it?

 

I think they mean Romulan.

Some players use Rommie as a nickname.

I wish I could head back to that Starfleet Academy. That looked beautiful with that sun set.

Anyways got my toon to LtCommander. Already got her in other clothes. The Walker is awesome early on, with it's setup.

 

Got a Walker Class already with the USS Orville. I take it it’s not Tier 5?
Speaking of which, they’re Tier 6 ships now. All my ships are now useless.

 

Its its the c-store one its tier 1-4, if its the lock box one its tier 6.
