I suppose it will be cool to see Goa’uld Death Gliders in Star Trek.
check the entire feed here some images of STO's dsc stuff and more story info.
One of their stories is from Kirsten Beyer, it was a story she wanted to do in the show but didn't have time.
Could a mod rename the thread to 'Victory is Life'? 'Delta Rising' was like, 3 years ago
T6 New Orleans
T6 Ambassador, based off Probert's concept art and Tobias Richter's version. Him and his team even built the STO model
I might have to get the wallet out for that Klingon boat though.
So AoD missions are not time travel missions for 25th Century characters, they're 'Historical Simulations'
And is that a Walker class bridge interior in that photo?!
Screenshots of the Crossfield and the Walker Class bridges, plus the Malachowski (DSC Starter ship) credits to sirboulevard on reddit.
So is the Disco stuff going to be a full tutorial and the new de facto character creation or is it the same as Jemmies?
It's basically a reworking of the current Fed tutorial, so no you don't start at level 60.
They're just an alternate themed starting experience for Feds, like the TOS ones are.
Uh. That's too bad. With this new focus on getting new players into endgame faster, I was hoping for a full level 60 tutorial mode thingy.
Disappointed that only Humans, Vulcans and Alien are (currently) available for the Discovery not-quite-expansion.
Needs moar threat ganglia.
Sadly, CBS specifically told STO no Kelpians. Though TBH there’s as much chance of me making a Kelpian character as there is a Tellarite - basically 0. They are not an attractive species.
Personally I’m still angry that you can’t make a female Gorn or for that matter female anything of most of the Klingon faction.
I have to create a new character to play AoD?
Only if you want to play the new tutorial.
The story missions after it will be available to every faction.
As historical simulations IIRC
