Nearly each series had a favorite sport/activity, What should Discovery’s be?

Nearly each Star Trek series seems to have adopted a favorite sport or game/activity adopted by the ship/station crew. TOS cast seemed to have camping/hiking in the films, TNG had poker, DS9 had baseball, VOY had...random holodeck adventures(?) So, for Discovery, what favorite game/sport/activity would you want them to adopt? What would fit with them?
Dance competition (specifically Disco dancing.) ;)

Track. They were already running laps around the saucer.
and if they decide to spin the saucer, it can just be a treadmill.
"Burnham to the Bridge"
"Burnham, to the Bridge. Where are you?"
"Burnham.. seriously it's been ten minutes"
"Oh sorry.. had the corridor rotating"

Wiffle ball. Really not enough of that in Trek.

Or zero-g sex. No one saw the Expanse anyway.

I think they can go all the way this season.

Hey, it's the personal lives of fast food workers after their shift ends - par-tay! What happened to Roddenberry's dream of an evolved humanity reduced to a adolescent rave?

A real sport for these kids would be a french fry eating contest. They'll make Fat Albert look like Twiggy in five years' time.

Gene would be the first one to grab a Solo cup of beer ( and probably grab someone as well) When did "evolved humanity" come to mean uptight and unable to have fun? Young people ( and that's who are at the party) will always want to blow off some steam and have some fun, especially in an intense setting like wartime.

devil's triangle.

it's a drinking game.
Tilly, screaming through tears: I drink beer. I like beer. I drank beer at the academy.
I don't think we can afFord to delve to far into that particular bit of trivia around here.
Especially when we seem to be groping and courting for connections to relevant topics of the day.

In TOS it was chess, in TNG it was poker, in DS9 it was darts, and in VOY it was pool. So it should be a sport not involving a field. And doesn't involve drinking. Something where you're sober and can be on the ball. A game of wits.

It should probably be a real game so anyone who's actually in the know can be in the know. With the four games I listed taken out, and without a field sport, what does that leave us with as options? There's something.

The shooting range would be an idea, like Lorca and Tyler were sort-of involved in last season, but I don't know how well that would go over in this day and age.

TIC-TAC-TOE or CHECKERS
They are apparently going to spend some time in Season 2 hopping around to different spots of the Universe, so those are the closest analogys I could think of.

Do none of those games involve drinking to you?

^ Whose thinking improves when they're drunk?

Some people play to have fun. But certain others will play to win. "I don't like to lose." I record sports for a living, so I've seen plenty of both mentalities. Mainly hockey, though. Rough doesn't begin to describe it in some cases.
