Video games have a separate trademark category.
I didn’t post this implying they were remaking Destiny, just as a possible show title.
So it could not be something I said it could be then.

Yeah, plus he said he wouldn't be "Captain Picard", so unless the only thing they'd take from Destiny is the concept of a Borg Invasion (which is hardly unique to Destiny) I don't see that happening.I really doubt that they doing Destiny - that does not sound like the sort of pitch that brings an actor back to a role...
I find that extremely hard to believe
It was funny, but I think it wasn't perfect. You could have added "...twice" after "but they're actually adapting it from a novelverse trilogy." in reference to them trademarking twice. Still a good joke thoughYes, sorry, I don't for a minute believe they are going to base their new Patrick Stewart vehicle on a 10-year-old novel trilogy (no matter how excellent that trilogy was). It was just a joke, based on nothing other than them both having the same name. That's what the "...what??" at the end was intended to convey. My apologies that it fell flat.
In my defense, it seemed fairly funny to me at 3:30 in the morning.
The Litverse is SAFE!!!!!
Isaw a very disturbing YouTube video today which sheds light on implications of the Picard series, while also clarifying why Discovery has been such a Kelvin-esque shit-show.
If what it says in the video is true, then we need all pray for the downfall of probable-rapist Les Moonves.
You missed a few, New Dawn, Dark Disciple, Ahsoka, Lords of the Sith, Tarkin, Most Wanted, Rebel Rising, Lost Stars, Battlefront: Twilight Company, Leia: Princess of Alderaan, Battlefront II: Inferno Squad, Heir to the Jedi. All of the novels, in all of the eras are just as connected as all of the Trek books in all of it's different eras.Okay, so looking only at the novels because the comparison was about the Novelverse, we got the Aftermath trilogy, Last Shot (tie-in to Solo), Bloodline, The Legends of Luke Skywalker (which is about Legendss about... Luke), Phasma, Before the Awakening (anthology about Finn, Rey & Poe) and two thirds of the Join the Resistance trilogy. That's hardly the Novelverse.
I think Jinn was just talking about the Post-ROTJ books based on her list. They don't have as many books because they have only been going on since the Disney sale, and they only release a handfull of books a year.
I have a feeling that the novelverse is going to stop at some stage.
