If there’s no mention of Irumodic Syndrome, I’m OUT! :P
Seriously though, while nostalgia is great, we’re literally delving further into the future of mainline Trek than ever before. I would be most looking forward to seeing what new characters and situations will be the foundation of a series set twenty years after we last saw Picard, and how they interact with our known quantity. Should it be Picard as an ambassador being shuttled around to deep space diplomatic hotspots, as many starships have been seen doing in other series? Should it be Proctor Picard finishing a final tour of duty aboard a ship of raw recruits from a revived Red Squad? How about newly-minted CinC Picard commanding an entire fleet against a new galactic-scale threat? Or even President Picard giving us that West Wing idealism we pretty desperately need in today’s political clime?
Or Gods forbid, old man Picard on the family vineyard, bookending a series of flashback adventures of some bushy-haired French ensign reporting to a bucket of a ship by the name of Stargazer? Whatever it is, it should be new and pushing the Trek universe forward instead of banking on the good old days.
Unless this is CBSAA’s version of a Full House / Will & Grace / Roseanne / whatever revival, trying to bring back as much of that TNG-in-its-prime feeling by reuniting Picard with a revolving door of past cast mates and guest stars and capitalizing on the nostalgia to the greatest possible extent... IMO that’s be the worst option. I don’t want to see what The Orville is already giving us either!
