That's very cool. Our residential treatment program has fostered dogs for the SPCA for a couple of years now. Very therapeutic, for the dogs and the patients.
Oklahoma sunrise pics I took a few years back. I might eventually get brave enough to post a pic of me later. We'll see.
So I waffle between being a red head and being my natural color so here is both. Sorry about the crappy quality on the first one and yes I have arms, see sec pic. I just have bony ones and hid them in this pic.
I was so roped into the story I thought you were about to say you ended up together. Love at first con! That’s awesome! And so true. Fred is very chill. Helps a lot with my anxiety. Dogs have that effect on people I think. Lovely little creatures
@JKM , you are adorable. Love that shade of red! I have a pretty nuetral, but pale skin tone and can do brunette, red and blonde, but the blonde covers my grays better, so blonde-ish it is.
Thanks, I've been everything but blonde I think. It would wash me out too much as I'm really pale. Last time I wore a bathing suite in public I heard some kid tell their mom 'look at that WHITE GIRL' really loud. I was probably blinding them. I have the misfortune of inheriting my mom's BRIGHT silver gray hairs. Seems no matter what I do to them they still stick out. Luckily I don't have too many yet which isn't bad at my age.
My husband is Middle Eastern and gets pretty tan. My daughter favors him completely and gets very dark. My son looks just like with blonde hair and freckles, but he gets somewhat tan in the summer. Then there is me...the only color I get is dark orange from the increase in my freckles. Cheers to us never tans
I just burn, I go from white to red. When I was a kid I had adults tell me I was brown as a little Indian because I was ALWAYS outside. The older I got, the more careful with my skin I became and by 18 I had stopped sun bathing. So now I'm really pale pretty much all the time. I would have to wear 100 proof sunblock to be in the sun and probably still get pink within 15 minutes of being in the sun.
I burn easily as well. There's no way in hell I could ever tan...best I could hope for is just to neutralize the blue. I remember once I was in NYC and happened to stumble across the filming for Spider-Man 3 (actually it was just rehearsals). I had forgotten to bring a cap, but still I stayed a rather long time to watch...so much so, I mananged to burn my bald head quite easily...
I tan too well, being Italian. It makes my tattoos look rather dull. I’m always really jealous of my more fair skinned friends because their artwork really pops. I always wanted the “fair skin with dark hair” look. Unnattainable!
Might want to protect it well. You might know this already, but finger tats, because of stuff like handwashing, sun exposure, & a general higher rate of exfoliation, tend to fade much more rapidly than other areas. Due to how often we flex our fingers & how loose, stretched, or bunched up they can get in the process, they also tend to blur. Fortunately yours is a rather simple design, which also wouldn't be too tough to retouch, down the line. So good choice
Oh my, that's from page one.... six years ago! Just to let you know, Kommander hasn't been around in almost three years. (Not to say they won't just randomly pop in again someday, but...)
Oh man. I wasn't even looking. How stoopid. The saddest part of all, is that tattoo is probably gone by now
Some long shots of mule deer in Great Basin National Park, Nevada. Good-looking five-point buck. Two four-points who were with him. They would never get together for a group photo, though. Doe and two fawns in a different place. The mother was much less interested in us.
Got to play with this today, was such a great experience. You can see more pics in the Feline Follies thread.
^ That's amazing. From my recent trip to the Angels/Dodgers series... My eyes are half open because it was so f&^*%ing hot.
