Yet the rec deck and the cargo bay do not fit, and the saucer rim windows do not work in the 300m size.

Indeed. I'm wondering which "scale-establishing features" @Timo means, because the window size, the scale of the docking ports, the shuttlebay and the bridge module all require the larger up-sized ~450m scale as well. I simply can't think of any feature of the ship that indicates the non-canon/semi-official-through-sheer-repetition <300m midget size...?
The docking ports seem to fully support the 300m size (although the smaller a yardstick feature, the larger the margin of error). Why would the bridge or the bay not fit this size this time around, having been specifically designed for it (and without the error-allowing relative size issue)?
As for the Rec Deck, it would never fit on the saucer rim no matter what - the discrepancy is between the positioning of the windows and the floor, not in the dimensions involved. OTOH, nobody need think the facility would be on the rim. The twin turboshafts nicely support a location just beneath and aft of the command superstructure with its twin lift doors - supposedly on those Decks 3 through 5 where "Let That Be Your Last Excitingly Endless Chase Through the Corridors" had such a facility positioned. That is, we need to ignore the windows or the floor, and TMP already has us ignoring windows elsewhere, in favor of them being viewscreens.

We can clearly see that the rec deck is on the rim, and the saucer exterior has roughly corresponding windows. And speaking of saucer rim windows, those do no make sense either on TOS or TMP Enterprise, nor on Excelsior in their commonly accepted sizes; the window rows would just bee way too close together.

Well this can be explained away.. The lounge was supposed to be where the VIP lounge was, hence the turbolifts. but they moved it to the rim and overlooked that detail. As for the big shuttle bay.. just look to the 350 scale model it.. it has a full interior shuttle bay that fits in just nicely. the Refit is 305 meters. Been so for almost 4 decades.

Well, that at least makes it absolutely, undeniably clear that the saucer is two (lofty) decks high. (As if that wasn't already apparent by there being two rows of windows...).
Can we now finally forever put that utterly impossible supposed (though luckily only ever appearing in non-canon material) ridiculous midget size of 300m forever to rest...?
There's literally NOTHING supporting it, except laziness of fandom to adapt, and literally EVERY visible cue demonstrably proves that size wrong time and time again!

If you watch the video, you'll see that the height of the windows from the inside, is rationalized as being put there for when one is sitting down.
It's the perfect height for someone sitting at a table placed along the outer deck of the Rec Room.
Also, if you watch the other videos, you'll see that he had to do a slight error correction/adjustment of his original calculations and then everything in the Rec Deck suddenly fit pretty well.

I really liked the low windows for table viewing. I could imagine the crew sat down eating etc. and gazing down through the windows into space.
