I think the problem is deeper than her, though. Getting rid of her might fix some things, but not all of them.
Wait and see my friend. Where there's smoke, there's fire. All these rumblings about problems behind the scenes, and the damage control that Lucasfilm employees are doing on Twitter and whatnot don't paint a pretty picture. They are definitely going to frame this as Kathleen 'moving on' to a new job of her own choice,' but her 'departure' will be announced within the year.
Indeed. Kennedy helmed the three more financially successful films, while Iger and Kasdan own Solo.lmao, no she won't.
Given what happened to Solo, I feel confident saying that Kennedy is not the problem that she is painted as. She is far more the scapegoat of the Internet.I think the problem is deeper than her, though. Getting rid of her might fix some things, but not all of them.
Even if you're right, why is your life so empty that something that has no effect on it gives you such glee?
What's amusing is I post here so infrequently. You're a far more active poster than I on a Star Trek message board, and you're using the argument of a "life so empty" . We don't really need to go there.
Why is someone losing their job so joyful?Let's be real. I don't actually care about Star Wars. I'm more fascinated about the drama behind the scenes and the studio politics. This Kathleen Kennedy mess plays right into what I'm interested in. So yes, the fallout from this mess does put a smile on my face.
Why is someone losing their job so joyful?
You're the one with four different threads here.![]()
If Kennedy is fired tonight, you are going to have the same money in your bank account tomorrow, have the same car, same living conditions, same job.
Why is someone losing their job so joyful?
But the fact that you're trying to focus this on me personally shows that deep down you are starting to realize that it is very likely Kathleen will be indeed fired, and you are trying to downplay the significance of that outcome to save face.

Newp. Not even close. Was hoping you could actually see how little it actually means. I simply can't imagine getting joy over someone losing their job over a movie I don't like.
...because of a franchise he suggests he doesn’t care about.
It’s disturbing that someone can be so obsessesed with someone’s downfall. At the end of the day, it won’t make a bit of difference to my life if Kennedy is fired. But until I hear something from a source with a little more knowledge than a random individual on the internet who utilizes Twitter and YouTube for his main sources of information and is to the point of identifying with Thanos, a character who killed billions, in order to take down one woman, because of a franchise he suggests he doesn’t care about, I will argue the point. Just sayin’.
He totally doesn't care. He totally doesn't care so much, that he posts whatever batshit Youtuber publishes any given day.![]()
Trust me, if I'm supposedly 'obsessed' it doesn't shine you guys in a favourable light either. Obviously, you're just as invested, if not moreso... just with the opposite perspective on the matter.
Where has anyone said they aren't invested? The only one I know who has said that, is you.
This makes zero sense. None.I'm happy with the message it sends. And yes, it will happen within the year. I'm sure you're looking forward to my posts when it's announced.![]()
Always has been.how silly and juvenile SW is.
Then why care about what happens to Kennedy if the narrative matters so little?I actually don't give a damn about Star Wars as a narrative at this point. It's just...stupid.
Always has been.
Always has been.
