This is a project I've been working on for some time. The design of the main corridor set only seen briefly in the second TOS pilot "Where No Man Has Gone Before" has always been intriguing to me. Unfortunately, I have never been able to find a scan of the official set plans. As such, I've endeavored to reconstruct the set layout based on the on-screen footage, as well as the existing set layouts from the series for the individual pieces.
This is my reconstruction of the main corridor set, with Sickbay, transporter room, and the briefing room. Careful examination of the available footage showed a step down at the far end of the straight corridor. Accompanying this with the mention in the book Inside Star Trek that the sets for the second pilot stretched across stages 15 and 16 at Desilu-Culver made me draw the conclusion the step-down was the connection point of the two stages.
The next image is a roughly-scaled placement of the sets within the official schematic of stage 15 that's available on the Culver Studios' website.
I'm open to any comments or changes that I could make to improve the drawings.
