For my part, I regret several things about Discovery :
- the fact that this new series takes place between TOS & Entreprise (=pre-sequel) and not after Nemisis, the movie or Voyager, the series.
- the darkness of the general storyline/characters, which is present in almost all episodes.
- although we knew right the beginning that violence will be omnipresent, I didn't think that this chapter of Star Trek's saga will be as violent as it was.
-> next to Discovery, Voyager is a walkover on a green lawn surrounded by flowers where some bees and hornets are gathering pollen, with their stings ready to be released to defend themselves! (Oops sorry, it's the spring that makes its effect on me!
)
- even if I was never fond of Klingons, those which were submitted, were really hideous (physically) and unpleasant.
-> it is hard to believe that eventually, we will enjoy (even if for my part, I wasn't fond of them, sorry) following the adventures of Worf and later B'Elena Torres.
