Hope so. But also hope Legion gets another go. Much as I LOVE Gotham, if it has 1 IQ point, Legion has 100.

One's over the top crazy and the other is Legion.

I'm glad we're getting a final season. i was worried there for awhile. Now they can properly wrap the show up.

You could have 130 episodes and never make any coherent sense out of this show. That said, BRING IT ON.
I think the line in tonight's episode sums up the show: "It isn't about Gotham, it's about Bruce Wayne"
I just went on Wikipedia.. and David Masouz is 17, turning 18 in February...so it will be interesting how they transition.
This next season is its last...hope thye don't go the Andromeda/Earth Final Conflict route (though i am not so confident...especially as they said it will be a reset)
I WOULD like the most of the cast to come back in 15 years for the inevitable movie reboot.

If you asked me 2 years ago I would have said you gotta recast/time jump... But Mazouz has grown physically a lot. With the show not coming back until summer they could delay filming even more to let him bulk up a bit. He won't physically be Batman Year One, but that was a mid 20s Bruce Wayne who spent over a decade training overseas. This is a different origin. I think a Mazouz Batman will be more like a Batman Beyond physique
They can use the year long gap to reflect real time for the show. Bruce leaves for a year and he's more mature but hasn't found the symbol to be gotham's dark knight.
Maybe 6 episodes in he finally realizes he should use a bat as a symbol.

Nah, he'll figure it out in the last episode and we'll get 10 minutes of him flying around from extreme distance, spliced with extreme closeups of his face and shoulders.

^ Selina will get magically fixed somehow. Disabling injuries, dismemberments, bullets to the brain -- they're never more than temporary nuisances on this show.
I think that's about as epic (and appropriately bonkers...) as Gotham could get TBH, pretty bad ass. While this is kind of analogous to the setup of Dark Knight Rises I'm actually reminded more of the later games in the Arkham series.
