Carrie Coon is voicing Proxima Midnight.

Also from the Radio Times story:

The Russos also confirmed to us the actors voicing two other Black Order members, with Irish actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor taking the role of telekinetic villain Ebony Maw and Terry Notary (Avatar, Planet of the Apes, The Hobbit trilogy) performing as Cull Obsidian, who is a largely silent character.

As of yet, the directing pair haven’t given up the identity of the actor playing the last member of the Black Order – the aforementioned Corvus Glaive – so fans may have to keep their ears, er, peeled when the film hits cinemas next week. Our money’s on Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, who is an experienced voice actor and already confirmed to be playing an as-yet-unknown character in the new film.
I've seen Vaughn-Lawlor's and Notary's names mentioned before but I don't know if they were ever confirmed until now.

I think Terry Notary is working on giving Andy Serkis a run for his money when it comes to mocap characters.

Thanos' life story to be told in the first official, non-adaptation tie-in novel for the MCU, Thanos: Titan Consumed by Barry Lyga.

I hope that this is a trend that continues now that so many characters are reaching the ends of their arcs. There are plenty of untold stories of the MCU worth telling. Banner was the Hulk for five years before we met him in The Incredible Hulk. How did Howard Stark go from the generally likeable guy we met in The First Avenger to the dour sourpuss we know from Tony's memories of the man? The foundation of SHIELD and Peggy's post-Agent Carter adventures. Early adventures of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. I imagine that Peter Quill had a rather colorful childhood. Of course with a Black Widow movie in the works Budapest would probably be off the table, but I'm sure Natasha and Clint had some adventures worth recounting together.

Editor's note from io9:

An earlier version of this article stated that the upcoming book Thanos: Titan Consumed, by Barry Lyga, was part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon, as per the publisher Little, Brown and Company. The publisher later contacted us and stated they had been misinformed, and thus, so had we. The book has no canonical ties to the MCU, and we regret the error.

I did see that, and it is disappointing, but to my mind it'll make the novel no different than any of the Star Trek novels that I've enjoyed over the last 30 years that have never been considered canon. Or any of the Star Wars EU novels that I read and are no longer considered canon. Or any of the Buffy, X-Files, Doctor Who or fill-in-the-franchise novels that I've read. Or, for that matter, MCU tie-in comics! It's the journey and the entertainment value the story provides that's important.

Absolutely. I particularly agree with Star Trek novels and Doctor Who audio plays. I just wanted to point out that clarification in case anyone was misled or confused.

This sounds cool, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it. Don't care about canon either, I read a ton of non-canon tie-ins so I'm used to it by now.
I wonder what other books they'll do? If they aren't going to continue Agent Carter's story onscreen then I would be up for a book. If we aren't going to get a Hulk solo movie, a book could be a good replacement.

They mentioned that a major character will die near the beginning of the movie. My guess is that Loki is a goner.

His redemption arc pretty much indicates he will die in Infinity War.

Due to various babysitting issues we didn't get to see Black Panther at the cinema, and it's not out online until May 8th. Should we wait until after that to watch Infinity War?

You could probably skip it and still follow Avengers, but seeing as the big climactic final battle in Infinity war will be in Wakanda, you would probably enjoy the movie better if you had seen Black Panther first.

The only direct tie-in to Infinity War is the one you would probably expect if you remember the post-credits tag of Civil War.
