Terminator VI

I only saw Genesys once...but for me, it was a fun movie...along the lines of The Force Awakens & JJ Trek, where we get the old stuff, but updated for the new millenum.

But these re-starts...it's feeling like every movie after the original Highlander!

Luna was very cool on Agents of SHIELD, but despite Cameron's involvement, I'm not yet enthused for this project. It occurred to me a while ago that in the 80s and 90s, we feared robots/AI running amok and taking over, but today, all our robots/computers/software/AI suddenly disappearing from our lives is arguably the more frightening prospect...

No worse than James Cameron directing, so whatever.
Like Eddy said, Cameron isn't directing...but I must still disagree with the assertion that Cameron is at bad at directing as Goyer is at screenwriting.

How is it possible that the same guy wrote TDK trilogy but also SR and BvS... I guess the director is the main difference there!

In universe it's possible that that is as small as Skynet could build it's early model Skinjobs.

Matador started as a DEO agent undercover in a cartel's soccer team... And then suddenly it's about 200 year old men and Eugenics.

Memorable fun.

If it helps at all, he's only "Story by" on DK and DKR, and Nolan co-wrote BB. :)

I guess they're going for a Terminator who can blend in effortlessly instead of a brick shithouse Arnie that stands out a mile away.

We don't know what kind of Terminator he'll be too. We've seen 'em played by normal dudes too. If you count Robert Patrick as normal. ;)

Rather than the white pages... The Terminator is going to track Sarah Connor down with Social Media.

The irony being is that facebook doesn't have the halflife it used to a few months ago.

OH!

ICE tries a pick up the Terminator in a sweep.

100s of ICE agents put in the cooler.

So busy trying not to be deported, the Terminator never gets around to finding Sarah Connor.

Imagine the Terminator getting a few dozen pop up viruses from cruising the internet unprotected enough.

This is a solid example of what doesn't interest me about this film.

This however does get my attention as Luna's turn on Agents of SHIELD as Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes(my least favorite GR at that) was actually well done and imo better than the comic version which I'm MEH on.

I suppose I'll just have to bide my time till someone comes along and say "The new Terminator film we are doing picks up after Salvation, continuing the Future War saga as it should've before poor choices with Genysis and Cameron's ego trip 'T3' happened".

MacKenzie Davis is the new heroine of the movie. Lot's of speculation as to what the scars could mean

-Did Skynet try to graft machine parts onto her and she escaped?
-Is she part machine?

So we've got Sarah Connor, A new Kyle Reese type character and a male Terminator.

I'm just wondering where Arnie fits into this. Is he still involved?
