Er, ... if you survive WWIII, maybe it's worth the price. Otherwise, certainly not.
Based on some rough calculations one out of every 16 people will die. That mean you have a 93.75% chance of surviving. That's not great, but somewhat good. Just avoid the big cities.
I see your logic now. Since, we know ahead of time, we can improve the odds by relocating ourselves. We just need to distribute red-shirts to 1/16th of the population.
I'm going to invest heavily in booze and build a shanty town outside of Bozeman, Montana. I should be rich by mid-2063.

Exactly. In my house, we skip over WWIII and the Eugenics Wars that preceded them barely happened at all!!

- A great day to use a weapon of mass destruction to inaugurate an era of peace.
- Or get blended listening to Oobie Doobie.
- Or graft organic skin onto a special someone's endoskeltetal structure (what a cold description for such a beautiful gift).

We did a pretty good job skipping the Eugenics Wars. I'm afraid we may be starting World War III early to compensate.
