Is it some kind of localized Mandela effect when I can't find my car keys? And then I find them where I am sure I looked a dozen times without seeing anything... Weird, huh?

That particular phenomenon (as with other items hidden and then revealed) is due to some capricious little beasties.

Gremlins are friendly. One of my brothers had one back in the day and I hated it....but that was comparing it to the 1972 Mustang fastback that he had. Today, compared to most modern, boring cars, I love the darn things.

It took me years to realize that DeForrest Kelly wasn't in the opening credits during season 1 of "TOS."

I never realised as a kid, but later on it was obvious as he was missing from at least four first season episodes and he wasn't as big a character until the last few shows of season one!

Just too bad the Gremlin wasn't as sexily proportioned as the show car that spawned it: the 1968 AMX GT. Much nicer lines.

Here is something I also didn't notice for awhile. That extra who was on some of the behind the scenes stuff on the dvd's. I forget his name. The guy was at helm a great deal of time in the first season. In fact I don't think I noticed him until I watched the dvd extra features.
