The Mandela Effect on TAS

I remember for a long time growing up I thought VOYAGER actually started with the crew getting into a firefight with Starfleet HQ. Lots of phaser fire in the offices. Janeway has Voyager beam them all back onto the ship and they head off with Starfleet chasing right behind them. Eventually they get flung into the Delta Quadrant.

This is largely because I didn't actually watch VOYAGER until its third season, so my memories of anything prior were hazy. Eventually when I finally rewatched the whole show for the first time I think I figured out where I got that false memory. I must have watched "Non Sequitur" when it originally aired and just got it mixed up for the beginning of the show. Frankly, my false memory of how the show started sounded a lot more exciting than "Caretaker". Instead of just the Maquis, it's the entire crew on the run for some reason at the beginning. The irony being that by the end of the first episode they actually set a course for the home they tried escaping from at the beginning.

Yes Indeedy! I remember that when Bernard Cribbins died in 2005 or something like that, that my wife and I both commented on it, but suddenly he's alive again and appearing in Doctor Who!!! Then the most famous one of recent times was Gene Wilder, who died soon after his wife who he had nursed or something and the next thing he's very ill and died again!!!
But like I said earlier, the three Romulan vessels in The Practical joker I do remember as Bird of Prey (Balance of Terror design) when I saw the episode in 2010 on DVD! Which I thought was odd as in their other appearance in The Survivor they were definitely the Klingon designed ships! So it's not like I misremembered them from childhood which is possible as I did see TAS as an early teenager but come on! :wtf:

Speaking of Mandela effect, didn't Sisko use to be taller? I know that there's at least one Romulan that thought that he would be.

I'f forgotten how many animation errors there had been. Some of them came as quite a shock to me, when I finally rewatched TAS as an adult.

No, that's the William Wallace effect, as mentioned in the movie of the same name.

Sisko being taller. Remember the line in "Braveheart"?* "William Wallace is 100 feet tall, shoots lightning bolts out of his eyes, and fireballs from his arse!"

*Yes, I made a mistake about the name.

McCoy standing next to Kirk on the bridge while Kirk is calling sick-bay to speak to his chief medical Doctor about Spock!

I've never seen a more ridiculous way to run than the way Uhura does on TAS. I don't know if it's Mandela effect but I almost wish it was and that in our new universe that defect was corrected.
