I rewatched "Magic" this afternoon with my son. It was his first DSC episode.

I liked it even better in this context.

I'm definitely missing it. But also missing the weekly discussions after an episode hits. I enjoy the back and forth here.

I don't care about STD

Yeah, I miss Discovery, Orville and GoT which are all on long breaks. So it's good that Westworld is coming back from its long break.

Yeah, I miss it. 2019 is ridiculous.

That said, I'm disturbed by aspects of it I've been thinking about lately. Maybe we miss a show's potential as much as we do the thing itself, during these breaks.

Definitely.

Hoping we get some casting news soon, though, if filming is due to start in April.

I’ll also have to pick up the second novel at some point. The first wasn’t great, but it had its moments.

The answer to having "Discovery" withdrawals is to embrace something new that won't create those feelings such as drugs or alcohol or smoking.

I went to DA last night. Discoholics Anonymous.

Group Therapy talked me down from wanting to wear a one-piece polyester leisure suit with bell-bottoms and a gold medallion to the Season 2 premiere of DISCO.

On another note: Starfleet needs Commodores in this series. And by that I mean The Commodores.

I can’t say I’m going through withdrawal but I’m excited to hear what season two is all about. I’m also hopeful it will be a little more coherent of a story arc.

For someone who doesn’t care about Disco, you sure do post about it a lot.

Love-hate relationships are often the most durable.
