What are the Trekbbs ads trying to sell to you?

As we know the adds do seem to be eerie in how the shape towards are desires or they do most of the time. Not always though. For some reason the computer gizmo or whatever it is called that does this stuff seems to think I want Alvacado's from Mexico and a Trip to the "Foot Locker" shoe store. It's a bad call. I tried Alvacado's not to long ago and hated them. I haven't need new shoes in awhile. Why isn't the computer connecting to my brain patterns more effectively?

I find the bulk of the ads to be around sites I have visited. i.e. Amazon

Now they are trying to get me to Amazon again and some kind of tech gadget thing made by a place called ZEBRA. It looks like a ray gun from some old style sci-fi show.

Doh! Now it just dissed me! Trying to get me to sign up for this thing to help with my grammar and spelling. It did make amends though by trying to get me to go on Carribean Crusie!

    It's subtle, but it's there.

    "Alvacado's." :techman:

Ditto. But I remember during the time when I wasn't a premium member for a few months, had some ads about some software.

Now they are bullying me by telling me to get out! Some off brand UHaul type of service.

Can we trade ads? And are they within five miles of my area?

Works for me. Dodge is pushing hard on me getting a Ram truck. Plus the sentient add device is working for the cat owner cabal by pushing some anti man/dog propaganda by wanting me to click onto something talking about how man and dog didn't become best friends overnight.

The addbot has hit a new low. Now it wants me to show support to Trump so he can stand up to gun control. I make one sarcastic post in the TNZ about making the schools more like prisons and now it thinks I am a Trump supporter!! I knew I should have used a Emogi in that post.

The ads you see are based in part on your location, your browsing history, and certain keywords in your posts.

Example: Years ago I ran a Dune forum. There was a thread where we were talking about that silly pug dog Patrick Stewart had to carry around in the Lynch movie. Next thing we know, we're getting Google Adsense ads for pug breeders and boarding kennels.

As for this forum, Premium membership's best perk is that I never see any ads. Not one.

It does make it a little creepy when I do a Google search for something, though. It bases its suggestions on things I've posted about here (or wherever my last forum visit was before I started searching).

I am wondering what I could have said though to make the adds think I want avocados. They are still trying to sale them to me. I guess I could test the equipment out. I sure would like to know where one can buy pet monkeys!

Right now it’s some sort of diet drink, but until recently it was sex with mature women. Just as I figured out how to screen grab on an apple phone they stopped appearing. I’ve been meaning to upload what I’ve been getting. Some of the images were rather suggestive.

Now it's Pampers. I just don't think this machine understands me.
