I don't consider it cannon but a re-boot created by time changes in ST:ENT..and I hope that it leads to new ST:TOS series which retails episodes from the original but upgraded to the new ST:DIS timeline.

I'll take your Archer IV and raise you a Maranga IV, because Archer IV proves anything...how?
The planet in TNG: Firstborn? What's that got to do with anything out of random interest?

(and the Archer IV thing was a joke. Obviously it wasn't intended at the time, but ENT: In A Mirror Darkly pt.2 retconned it to have been named after Captain Archer)

You guys all know about this secret room deep in the bowels of the Enterprise-D, right?

And it's also the hallucinogenic spore planet from "Strange New World."

Wait a minute.

Spores.

Hallucinogenic.

:wtf:

DSC has been a chemically-induced brain trip all along!

They at least have to be in an alternate timeline right now. The war with the klingons is far too escalated from how it was described in the future. They said the Saratoga was destroyed when we see that ship in Star Trek 4.

In the latest episode, former Emperor Georgiou tells Sarek that Kronos has been annihilated in the Mirror Universe. Yet the Klingons (along with the Cardassians) rule the Mirror Universe in the 24th century. Did they reference the Klingon homeworld in any DS9 MU episodes?

Not that I recall. Not unless Regent Worf mentioned the Klingon Homeworld in one of the later MU episodes, in which case we have a major continuity error on our hands.

Unless, of course, Emperor Georgiou was lying to her captors. :)
