If by RESET you mean everything is undone, then No.
If by RESET you mean the decks are cleared for Season 2, then Maybe.
I think everything will be largely wrapped up but some sort of doorway will open up that will lead into next season. It won't be, "Mr. Worf, fire."

If they undo the first season of the first new Trek series in 12 years I will laugh my ass off.

I don't think we'll get a reset. I do think that (somehow...and I can't imagine how) that things will be wrapped up for S2 to start with basically an entirely new arc.

Presuming Qo'noS is really blowing up, at minimum they're almost certainly going to travel back in time by nine months to fix everything. After all, they see how the war ends, they have the spores, and they have the capacity for time travel. It's a no brainer.
I just hope they leave it there (basically invalidating just the 14th and most of the 15th episodes) rather than taking it all the way back to the BotBS.

Hey, if it wasn't for the writers relying on the reset button, we never would have gotten seven seasons of Voyager. On second thought, that's a great reason to hate the reset button...
How come "I fucking hope not, but It wouldn't surprise me," isn't an option?

Granted, even the perspective might be misleading and the planet is the terraformed moon of the bluish planet further away. It's more of an emotional reaction to the trailer (and the Klingons actually establishing a foothold in the Solar System, even if it's just a bunch of them presumably merrily partying their time away aboard a ruined starbase) than anything else.But this only looks like Kronos. If that was an option, I would've cast my vote for it instead.
If they do take it that far back, then Tyler goes from becoming a meat suit to just another entrée.
I hope not.
It speaks to the writing in this show that I can't rule out the possibility.
That said, it would be an insane decision.
