Feline Follies

That's more like a half-lapper. My female did that sometimes, when I wouldn't make my entire lap available, but she just had to be on my lap.

My boy Pepsi sat on the massage chair.

# of "Fucks" Given...?

Hugo - absolute zero
Cute cat, and understandably doesn't care about your "no cats" sign.

Or possibly, "This applies to strange cats. I am perfectly normal and this is my home anyway, so it can't possibly mean me."

Meet Sophie.

With any luck, she'll be here this coming weekend.

She's a hard-luck case that has some litterbox issues and mysteriously goes into heat sporadically, though she's been spayed. The person that's giving her up felt she was out of options as she could no longer handle the issues and had checked with shelters and her friends and no one would take her (because of her problems and the fact that she's basically a black cat). She told me that Sophie's only options were to become a barn cat this coming spring (she's an indoor, 5-year-old house cat) or be put down. I'm a sucker for the tough ones.

She is.

The vet cannot figure it out. He said that cats have defined organs, unlike some dogs where small portions can be left after surgery.

She's gorgeous. Has an air of Salem about her (which is the silly reason people don't want black cats)... make sure she's not inhabited by an 18th century witch looking to take over the world!

Actually, scrap that. If she does want to take over the world join her and rule beneficently.

Our last foster, 19 year old Maddie, had to go to another fosterer. I loved her to bits, but pregnant Mrs Rune was endlessly nauseated by her tray, food. We are hoping to have her back once Mrs Rune's sickness abates, unless of course she finds a forever home first.

Hugo - misses Ol' Craggy

Monorail cat! :)

Chelsea is getting a little chunky (and I worry about that...that lone front leg takes a lot of impact!) but she doesn't over eat and is super active. Still, I worry about that lone front leg breaking/getting arthritic/etc. Oh well, she's happy. :)
My girl is well covered, though she does have a full set of legs :) However her fur is super soft and she plays.

Chelsea has bright eyes! She looks well.

Thank you @Refuge !

She is bright eyed and full of mischief. Being a tripod doesn't slow her down at all. I just tend to worry about her due to her rough start in life. Hubby tells me she's fine and I worry too much. I guess he's right, because she runs rings around both of us!

"Well covered" girls unite! :)

That's unfortunate. Sadly black cats get a bad rap and are regularly the hardest to re-home and the first abandoned. Which is ludicrous to me because cats (and dogs) are about their personalities, not their aesthetics.

Hugo - has two abandoned black cats as pets. They're assholes. And awesome too.

Is that the stealth monorail?
