Feline Follies

She's found a new spot to sleep in. I don't know how, but...cat.

A place I worked many years ago had 2 shop cats. The female, now 20+ years old, used to sleep on an old CRT monitor that made that whining noise. It was probably putting out some serious EM radiation, it might explain her advanced age. She's a mutant.

Somebody gave me a package of chicken flavored Temptations treats for my cat. I've never given her treats (other than Whiskas cat milk), and am a bit leery due to the pet poisonings several years ago.

Has anyone heard any negative things about this brand of cat treats? I'm trying to research some of the chemicals on the label to see if this stuff actually has any nutrition in it or if it's the cat equivalent of potato chips.

IIRC our Emma refused to eat it when we got a freebie version a while back

My cat loves the tuna flavour, but as for nutritional value, I have no idea. It's just an occasional treat, anyway.

Sadly, Scribble's cats have eaten most of the classic singing groups of the last few decades. Not only the Temptations, but the Four Tops, Gladys Knight and the Pips, the Chi-Lites, Martha and the Vandellas, Smokey Robinson AND the Miracles, The Supremes, hell I think they have even noshed on more recent bands like Boyz II Men.

ALL of them now cat-shit. :wah:

I bought a bag of Meow Mix treats (as a Christmas present for two homeless cats) called Irresistible.-- tuna flavor (I know it's tuna flavored because it says it twice on the front of the package, just incase I missed it the first time).

They have a few different flavors, like chicken as well.

Anyway, I read the ingredients since it says it has real tuna in it and I'm immediately suspicious of this dubious claim, for this package of tuna flavored treats.

Ingredient number one: chicken. More that isn't tuna. Another ingredient that is chicken again. Finally, maybe a dozen ingredients in, we get to tuna. So, if I buy the chicken flavored one, will the first ingredient be tuna?

The bottom section vibrates. He's such a wimp that if I turn it on her'd be out of the cat flap, through the garden and over the fence so quickly he'd go from floof to whiskerless in under 5 seconds.

He's an asshole. And so am I. But I'm less of one so I just mock him on the interwebs from time to time

Hugo - Asshole-ish
