Looks to be a Lorca-resurrects-his-resistance-group story. The title tends to suggest to me that this is a Tyler/Lorca redemption story, but I will wait and see...

I hope this is the final MU episode. I know it's not going to be. But hope to god it is.
Think we will see the Defiant?

I don't. I think they know how the fans are going to react to seeing any connie on screen so are just going to stay away from it.

I "like" the plot-convenient twist that rather than kill Lorca's followers Georgiou decided to round them all up, and place them on her own ship in agonizer booths.

This makes me think Lorca will try to convince Burnham to stay with him, that she belongs in the MU.

Absolutely. I think MU Lorca would probably let the Discovery go back home, but in exchange he'll want Burnham to stay with him.

Burnham should take that deal if she's really as concerned about the safety of the crew and the Federation as she seems to be. But she won't because reasons.

On the one hand, assuming Lorca is successful in his coup, than yes, Michael has more going for her in the MU if she stays than her life prison sentence back home. On the other hand, this assumes Lorca won't betray and murder her anyway, which seems as likely as anything at the moment.

I only concern is we see Lorca with the Emperor’s sword. And I really really really don’t want him to win the Throne. 1) cuz I don’t want them to kill of Michelle Yeoh twice and 2) The Emperor is just such an awesome character in her own right and would make for a fantastic recurring villain

I think Yeoh is a goner.
