Georgiou's full name from the Subtitles.

According to another thread, Iaponius means Japan in Latin.
I thought Kirk’s (William’s) Family were the ones who liked the Roman names.

Augustus is the title given to Roman Emperors after the very first one, the Terran Empire might see its self as a successor.

Her other titles before this also used latin. (Dominus of Qo'noS, Regina Andor)

Does anyone complaining about this show being predictable have any certain predictions for how this season will end?
They get back but this time in the proper Prime universe where things actually aren’t dark and gloomy and there is some colour.
My hope at least.

Now that I think about it, it can't have been Mirror Saru who got eaten. He was still safely back on the ISS Shenzhou. He wasn't on the shuttle. Still uggh, though that the poor Kelpian was chosen like a damned lobster.

Shame Sato wasn’t in it. I know she’s Japanese but she could have mated with a Chinese person.

For me, this show has hit a nice, consistent stride. I haven't read the previous 4 pages yet, but I have seen a few comments that the reveals are predictable. Yes, they are. But I think it is very well done, so I won't complain about that. (and I wonder if it is just predictable for those of us familiar with Star Trek plot mechanics. My husband got a text from one of his friends who was completely floored by the reveal.)

Overall, I am really happy with the way things are progressing.

Lorca is going to become Emperor and allow Discovery to go back the way he came.
He’s not as vindictive than the other MU chaps so I could see it happening.

the scene empress feeding threat ganglia to Michael was awesome!
empress is so dark and vicious.
i regret listening to so many podcasts, ruined the mirror lorca surprise.
seems like mirror Landis will be in next episode.
did Loreil killed Voq off? I think Klingons believe in death with honor, not captured, so that is in keeping with canon. That leave Ash alive with romance with Michael.
decent episode.

Good episode. I was wondering if Michael and the Emperor will have girl on girl action. They seem to be that way in the mirror universe.

That STD novel that comes out next month is going to be interesting since the Lorca in that is the Prime one.
Unless, part of the story is about how Mirror Lorca came to the STDVerse. Would mean that he’s been hiding for over 10 years if so.

It will be Prime Lorca because it takes place before the destruction of the USS Buran.
