Named after the ferryman of Hades. Nice.

That throne room on the ISS Charon looks amazing.

 

As always, those sets are fantastic.

Eight dull pictures of Burnham / Georgiou, and two gratuitous others. Zzzzz.

 

Thought this when she popped up at the end of the last episode, but something looks odd with Georgiou's face. Might just be her makeup, but it looks like she's been CGI'd.

 

Hopefully this will allow Yeoh to be Yeoh for a sequence or two.

 

Did you miss the scene last episode with him coming back to life?

 

Also, this is Star Trek. Death is rarely permanent.

 

According to After Trek, Michelle Yeoh helped design the Emperor's sword.

 

I'm intrigued about Saru going to L'Rell for help. I wonder what that could be about?

 

I read a cool speculation that the ISS Charon might be a re-purposed/modified Klingon Ship of the Dead. Spoils from the BotBS. Might still have the cloaking tech, too.

 

The Ship of the Dead was destroyed in "Into the Forest I Go".

 

So cool. And sinister. Even from just these stills, I feel worried for the characters, and wonder how Empress Georgiou will turn out.
