I hope they're not just bog-standard transfers with no extras; looking forward to some behind-the-scenes, bloopers/outtakes and especially commentaries from likes of Isaacs (if they can afford to get him into recording booth!)
Same, but my guess is they won't be. There are way too many Star Trek fans who are waiting for DVD to watch the show--and way too many who will buy it on DVD anyway for CBS/Paramount to not put on the bells & whistles and sell it for a pretty penny.
Netflix paid a lot of money for this, I think they'd wanna keep it exclusive for a while.
Not to mention, they release their own shows on Blu-ray regularly.Netflix bought DSC for international territories, not the US. They'd have no control over a domestic home video release.
It will have no bells and whistles and be sold for a pretty penny anyway.![]()
