Seems to be her signature move now. She just wanders the island, looking for situations where she can step in at the last second and look like a hero. And it was awesome to see t-rex come to the rescue.![]()

Because no one would notice a T-rex standing nearby waiting to snarf up another dinosaur, right? No water pulses giving away her steps this time? I don't care, though, because seeing dinosaurs in all their glory is pretty much the only reason I go to see these movies.

The volcano's been shown on maps I believe since the first movie. The Telltale game explained that the park ran on geothermal power.
I don't think they've ever fully dropped the idea of gun-toting, armor-wearing human-dinosaur hybrid soldiers (originating in a 'bonkers' rejected 2004 script by John Sayles), and that JW was consciously building up to that.
Could have been thought to be extinct or dormant for millennia. And we currently have entire cities snuggled right up next to active volcanoes. No one checked that the volcano might be active before building TWO like 100 billion dollar parks on it?
Besides, how many completely unpopulated large-ish tropical island paradises do you know that are up for sale?
