Feline Follies

I'm going to put a slight downer on this thread, one of our cats got knocked over today and died. His brother whilst a hole was being dug licked his nose and laid down besides him. He just seems out of sorts today since then.

I'm so sorry. :(

I'm very sorry. It hasn't been that long since I lost one of my kittehs.

Vet check up today.

Appears Cleo hasn't been seen in a few years. The vet confirmed she has a minor ear infection, however the eye and head tilt are from a previous infection which damaged her ear, eye and brain.

We thought she was squinting and tilted her head to the effected side because of her ear now, but apparently the damage was already done. Which explains why she tried to eat my finger last night when I was dropping down some treats. She couldn't see them properly I don't think and just smelt the residue of the treats on my fingers in front of her.

She'd not had any vaccines in 10 years either so she will have to stay with us for at least a month before she can go to a new home. Which is nice for us cos she's a doll.

Apparently Cleo's a full pedigree and a lady has been identified who has two of her daughters, and she's interested in homing her to bring the family back together.

Hugo - will struggle to let go on this one

She looks like a Lilac-point Siamese. Growing up in the 60s and 70s, we had Seal-point Siamese. Classical, not the so-called "modern" type, without all the extreme features from selective breeding during the 80s and 90s.

Cleo? Where's her leg-warmers?

Sorry, just a silly reference to an obscure mid 80s syndicated cartoon called "The Catillac Cats". The main female character reflected 1980s fashion by wearing the exercise inspired garments.
