The Good Place Season 2

Is this one of those episodes where they did the whole thing in one cut, or one cut per add-break?

Oh, I suppose when they went to the bedroom, it was a different scene, sorry for bothering you.

Butt reboot

Michael always cracks me up. The hanging parts/testicle lines were funny too.

I really like where this season is going. It’s kind of a dark show that has a ton of levity and heart. It is interesting they are focusing on the fact that they are bad people (last year I think the focus was more on Eleanor being bad and just the place as a whole) wanting to be better people. I’m really excited to see where this goes.

Also Tahani’s death was very very sad.

The last couple episodes were great. I loved the mantage of all the different attempts was great. Jason figuring it out and Micheal's reaction was one of the best parts.
Definitely curious to see where they are taking things after last night. I love the idea of them actually working with Micheal to fool everybody else there. I look forward to Micheal taking Chidi's class.

Yeah, that was pretty good. I liked seeing her and Chidi realize that they weren't the great people they thought they were.

Michael having a mid life crisis was absolutely hilarious. I loved the scene where he shows up in the sports car! And Tahani had sex with Jason! WHAT!?!?! WOW!!!!

My prediction for the series finale is that the characters will eventually grow to like the place and Michael will turn it into their own "good place".

Micheal's existential crisis was hilarious, I think Ted Danson is heading into Emmy territory here.
Seeing Eleanor's mother definitely explains a lot about how she ended up the way she did.

Funny that Michael thought being called a demon was racist. Also funny was his "Chinese for Japan" tattoo.

Tonight's episode:
TV Guide said:
The Trolley Problem
Chidi and Eleanor tackle a famous ethical dilemma, leading to a conflict with Michael. Meanwhile, Tahani harbors a secret and confides in Janet.
(The promo is just a generic one with footage from earlier episodes.)

I think this show might actually be forking brilliant. It expertly creates a comedy out of philosophical and metaphysical questions. That takes some bloody good writing and this show pulls it off! The jokes really worked great in last night's episode.

Eleanor finding out that Michael was torturing Chidi with the trolley problem got me thinking. I think Michael's plea a couple episodes back to join their team was fake and all part of his new scheme to mess with them. Basically, Michael knows that trying to pretend it is the good place, will never work. Clearly after so many failed attempts, the gang will always discover the ruse no matter what. So he changed his strategy: admit that it is the good place, since they will discover it anyway, but pretend to be on their team and get them to "fake it" for Real Eleanor while torturing them in other ways, like making Chidi reenact the trolley problem over and over again.
