Don't forget!Do I really need to send you some pictures of what "Nudity" is? ENT probably got close a few times (NOT in Decon chamber scenes) but it was not actual nudity:

Ah good old UPN, pushing the "boundaries"![]()
Sort of. You have your duty/utility uniform, and your PT uniform. You take a shower at night, sleep in your PTs(shorts/t-shirt) then you go do PT straight away in the morning(running/dumb calisthenics/lift weights), get back, shower, put on your duty uniform, go to chow, then go to work.Real armies and navies have standard-issue pajamas. And Starfleet does, too. But as we've seen in other Trek, if somebody chooses to bring along their own pajamas, then apparently that's okay.

Tuvok has the craziest, most awesomest silk pajamas with shoulder pads in the quadrant! Maybe he only puts them on so that others don't know his secret. Repressed, those Vulcans are.IIRC, Tuvok is the only person in Trek history who canonically sleeps naked.

That's a good point. TNG era, they had plenty of space, and more advanced replicators. additionally, the clothes synthesizer on Discovery might be limited to a few patterns.Considering how little personal space the quarters have, and what looks like the small amount of space for stuff, it probably makes sense for crew members not have packed a bunch of clothes and just use the standard issued clothing.
Yeah, I was thinking that. I was actually remembering Charlie X, where Rand mentions there's none of a particular perfume she likes in any of the ship's stores. I suppose there could be different ways to interpret that, but knowing that real navy ships have stores where crew can buy certain items, I figure, why not?Purchase? I thought there was no money in the Federation. (runs for cover).
They did, although not as big or bulky as the ones on the regular duty uniforms:Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't recall the pajamas having metal badges.
