My thoughts on Episode 1x05 cont'd

Lorcas got quite a strong grip hasn't he Mudd, "my name is Mudd" line takes me back to Looney Tunes cartoons, I believe it was immortalised by none other than Wile E Coyote and I have changed my avatar accordingly, at least until we get an actual shot of a toilet on Discovery (unlikely) or Orville (its coming).
I already want Lorca to shoot Mudd, love how Lorca isn't buying what Ash Tyler is selling from the start, seven months is a long time to survive in such a situation, spoke to soon as Lorca just confirmed to anyone listening that his ship is the one they are looking for.
Why do I get the feeling Burnham is going to actually end up as the navigator sooner or later, was the earlier dream literal foreshadowing.
It is pretty fucking cool, shame we know that it wont work out in the long run, hang on a minute the navigator could even be Saru with his heightened senses.
Surprised we are getting Lorcas back story so soon, then again there aren't that many episodes in this first season so I guess they need to move things a long a bit quicker.
It appears Saru is a gigantic hypocrite, had a suspicion he would be, its easy to question others actions in hindsight not so easy to have to make them himself.
Like the sound of the Klingon weapons and the green splat when they kill, after seeing Tylers beatdown on the leader I wonder if he really is Voq or not, I guess that's the point to keep us guessing, very strange that Lorca didn't shoot to kill the female leader, he had no trouble taking out the other Klingons.
Would have been better if they had destroyed the Birds of Prey and the prison ship, far too many people have seen and know about the Discovery.
Oh Stamets you trooper you, cant believe I was right, I thought it more likely to be Burnham though, seems Saru has had to eat a large portion of humble pie and its about time.
Then we get the mirror shot, no surprise there will be consequences for what Stamets did, could he have jumped them into the mirror universe by accident, lack of promo for next week makes me wonder.
Bloody great episode, solid 9 all the way through.
