Spoilers Once Upon a Time Season 7

Last Friday, I didn't catch the season premiere. However, I caught tonight's episode and loved it. Season 7 may end up being better than Season 1. I especially loved the twist with the two Hooks and I'm glad Emma had a good fate and didn't die.

Yeah, the introduction of Other Hook was a great way to keep Hook around without ending the Hook/Emma relationship.
This season has gotten off to a great start, the new characters are good and the story so far has been enjoyable.
I'm a big Burn Notice fan, so I've been getting kick out of seeing Gabrielle Anwar as Lady Tremaine/Belfry.
I hope we start to learn more about the new curse soon.
It's been fun seeing Regina and Rumble with totally new personalities.
So who do we think Other Hook's daughter is?

I'm thinking Rapunzel. I read somewhere a new version of Rapunzel would appear this season and she would fit Hook's daughter to a tee. I just wonder who her mother was.

What little information alternate!Hook/Rogers tells us about his daughter is almost an exact mstr for for the story of Rapunzel.

I was starting to lose interest in the plot and characters, but I finished watching last night's episode, which turned out to be good, especially after seeing an expectant Emma Swan. Since this story took place before Lucy was even born, it had to have been 9 or 10 years ago.

We know a little more about Rumple's and Hook's characters. Rumple doesn't appear to be the corrupt cop I thought he was. And Hook is actually Wish Hook who became Henry's comrade. Regina tagged along for the adventure too.

The Charming's family tree gets even more complex. Not only is Lucy the granddaughter of Emma and Regina, and Snow and Charming's great grandchild. This means Hook and Emma's child in Storybrooke (Henry's sibling) is now probably Lucy's age. Not so unusual when you consider Henry is much older than his "uncle Neil."

The different realms are reminiscent of the Multiverse and infinite Earths wherein there exist not only Oz, Wonderland, and The Enchanted Forest but also different versions and manifestations of a character like Cinderella.

Wish Hook's daughter was imprisoned by a witch. He would always sneak into the castle to secretly play chess with her. The Rook piece could symbolize Rapunzel's tower, so that makes perfect sense.

Even though Once is labeling the Seattle/Hyperion Heights-set stuff as being "the present", they're not set in 2017 because they can't be according to the show's internal timeline and Henry and Lucy's ages.

I believe it's set in 2018. However, I think I know how Henry can be so much older and have a 10-year old daughter and yet it only be a few years after " The Final Battle " in the World Without Magic. My thought is that time runs differently in the New Enchanted Forest and possibly the other realms Henry jumped to as well which would explain how he could spend over a decade in the other realms but for only a few years to pass in the World Without Magic. Either that or it's a result of the curse.

Right now I'm thinking it will be Alice.
That was my first thought.

But this makes a lot of sense too.

I hope Hook's daughter is someone we won't meet for a few eps, just to keep the mystery going for a tad longer.

I love the "new" Regina/Roni and hope she can keep control of her bar from that damnable Belfry woman.

Hmm.

How long do you think we will have to wait until Roni makes a joke about "bats in the belfry"

This was definitely a better episode than last week. It was quite a surprise that this season's Hook is our Hook's reprobate double-- at first, I didn't like that idea, but then I realized it was quite clever, because it means that our Hook is still with Emma as they start their own family. It was also pretty slick how they first implied that something bad had happened to Emma, only to reveal that the truth is quite the opposite.

But it's kind of weird that the headliners this year include a grown-up Henry, an alternate Hook, and regular Regina-- unless she turns out to be an alternate, too. And it seems to be regular Rumpy, too, except now, like Diogenes, he seems to be looking for an honest man. It will be interesting to see how this all came about

I'm curious how they'll address Rumple and Belle being apart. I'm finishing up last season tomorrow morning, so I don't the details, but I got the impression they were also given a happy ending.

Even if we meet her, that doesn't mean we'll know it's her.

Hook said Emma was "dealing with annoying tiny dragons, nothing she can't handle."
That made think of Pern. Side note.

I think Rapunzel is a good bet for Hook's kid too. Zelena is supposed to show too, and Belle is in
Ep. 4.

I'm very curious as to who the Witch will be...

No magic? How come, then, Rumple/Weaver doesn't limp? He knows who he is, hands down.

:techman:

Edit: Very cool, 'Rumplestiltskin, Gold Weaver.' And I liked him better with long hair!

So the name of Henry's dead daughter was Abigail Mills just like the character from Sleepy Hollow. Coincidence of a little shout out to that show?

The chained lady reminded me of Merida. She must pose a threat to Victoria if she's being held captive in her secret warehouse. I was wondering if she was Wish Hook's missing daughter. She would be the right age, considering Elder Hook is much older than Storybrooke Hook.

I think The Witch is most likely Mother Gothel and I further suspect she may be the one who cast the latest curse after being forced to or making a deal with Lady Tremaine. I think it's also possible that The Witch is the mother of Hook's daughter, Rapunzel.
