It was a joke. I didn't criticize you. I was just genuinely surprised to have someone say they're not a scifi fan yet hang out on this forum. It can't be that shocking to you that someone might find that a bit surprising, can it?

At least I'm honest with you all and I assume my shortcomings, while still learning.
(I am interested in all genres and styles, even if my sensitivity particularly looks for some).

Moreover, even if I'm not versed in science-fiction, I've always been fascinated by the philosophical themes that are discussed, which, in my opinion, are universal and timeless, as the state of mind of the characters and/or their emotions, whether human or alien.

Although in that shot of most of the crew, the orange and red shirts were difficult to distinguish from each other. (Also a lot of people in coveralls in that shot!) Also interesting that apparently Mercer, Grayson, and Bortus are the only three with blue shirts.

So...what are the divisions? Command and Medical, obviously - what's the split between the other two? Operations and Security?

To paraphrase Tamara Keith, one point does not determine a line. We've seen only one example of an actual character with the green uniform.
