Well, his "I won't write about Discovery" thing lasted, what, two months?EAS was holding off doing this until the show actually aired, but since the author saw so many people liking the new designs he decided to post it now

They’ve said the Klingon high council is made up of the 24 most powerful great houses. That fact comes from the encyclopedia not any of the shows.
So I wonder if they’re referencing that book as well

If i remember things right, Krenn was a member of House 24 in The Final Reflection.
I don't recall the houses being numbered in that book. Although, admittedly, it's been about 20 years since last I read it, so...
Is the implication there that these Klingons may somehow be inspired by Ford's work? If so, then color me intrigued.
Mike Ford fleshed out the details of Klingon houses in the FASA Klingon Intelligence Briefing sourcebook. It was developed concurrent to The Final Reflection, IIRC. Each house has a name and symbol. They have said The Last Reflection served some inspiration.
Even the game klin zha is said to appear some way in the show.
I sold dozens of my Trek novels to focus on new and general SF years ago. I recently picked up The Wounded Sky, one of my old favorites. Also, plan on re-reading Greg Bear's Corona. But mainly with Trek novels I will focus on post-2017 DSC novels from now on.I regret getting rid of my copy now, which I gave to a charity shop - it was just the more revent re-release in anthology form they did of The Final Reflection paired with the TNG Kahless novel (which I didn't read as I was only interested in the first book) - time for publication of a stand-alone re-release with new art I think!
I just sat back and admired that for a bit. You're a true fan Aaron.I've really been enjoying the detail of the sarcophagus ship, curious to see what a regular DSC Klingon ship looks like inside and out (and what their 'LCARS' looks like!)

See, now that's good. It's bold and unconventional.I've really been enjoying the detail of the sarcophagus ship, curious to see what a regular DSC Klingon ship looks like inside and out (and what their 'LCARS' looks like!)
