Absolutely a great episode, though with all the great DS9 episodes it'd be hard to place it in top 10 for me. But up there, absolutely.
Especially for the time in the series it aired. From TNG, we would expect that Odo would find some way to fix the system and prove O'Brien innocent. Instead O'Brien only gets freed through political extortion. Tribunal is one of the closest looks we really get at a culture completely unlike our own.
I especially like how the defense lawyer equivalent's job is to establish cinematic motives for breaking the law.

One of these days I really should sit down and force myself to decide on my top 10 DS9 episodes. But with so many good ones it's too hard to choose!!!!

I always think of season 2 as the "Let's REALLY torture O'Brien" season. He'll usually get one per season... here, he had "ARMAGEDDON GAME" with him being infected with the Harvesters, "WHISPERS" with his clone, and this episode. 'Extra Credit' looks more like 'Extra Crispy' to me.
Odo was almost always naked.
Love this episode and loved Obrian's Lawyer. For such a dark theme of guilty and then showing the trial just for show, this episode was funny.
It seems, I think, that we have different ideas of 'naked'.
For the most part I'll have to stick to the V-neck wrap shirts on Picard and Riker
Odo was naked in "BROKEN LINK" when the Changelings made him a solid.
You have a definition that is different from "not wearing clothes?" Except during those episodes he was human, Odo was always not wearing clothes.It seems, I think, that we have different ideas of 'naked'.
Odo was wearing clothes, they just happened to be part of his body.
