I prefer the producer's commentary tracks that Ron Moore did for "Battlestar Galactica" and "Outlander." It's like watching the show with the producer (and occasionally other crew members from the show) sitting there explaining how each scene came together. (I also like "Talking Dead," but much of that show is time-filler and sponsored fluff.)
Either as a commentary track or on the after-show, I'd like to hear from the producers and writers who actually work on the scripts, about their views on continuity and the Trek universe beyond "Discovery." (Actors are also interesting, but all they can do is state what we already saw them doing in the episode.)
